Irish Food Tasting Day :)
To Celebrate National Irish Week in March the Parent teachers association held a food tasting day in the school. The Parents turned one of the Classrooms, not yet in use, into a mini Irish Restaurant. Throughout the school day each class came to the “restaurant” to try small samples of Irish food. It was expected that not all children would willingly take part in trying the food that they had possible not yet been introduced to. But it was a nice surprise when all children excitedly entered the tasting and were willing to experiment with new foods. Over all it was a fun event. For the P.T.A, the teachers that were involved, and more importantly the children of the school. It is planned to have more food tasting days in the school like this one. Each time focusing on a different Country.
