The Friberg Temple.

Visiting the Friberg Temple was definitely one of the highlights of my time in Germany. Also one of the highlights of 2011 too. It was 7 o'clock in the evening when we arrived. When I say we, I mean myself, Katja and her 2 good friends, Paul and Jared Jentzsch, 2 brothers. It took us about an hour and a half to drive to the temple from Halla, but it was worth every minute of the drive. It took a lot less time than my usual journey to the Preston temple took. So I wasn't complaining :) When we arrived, the Temple looked like a vision to me. The whiteness of Temples worldwide, always more amazing against the dark sky. Although it was a different Temple, in a different country, with most people speaking different languages, the spirit was the exact same :) I had to wear earphones with English so I could know what was happening round me. The work we did at the Temple that night, was every bit as Special, and the same as, work I'd taken part in at Preston & London Temples before. I am so Happy that I had this experience. I hope to visit again with Patrick some time soon. We left the Temple and enjoyed easy chat on the way back to Katja's. I had another new experience on our journey home, of McDonald's in Germany (so much nicer than in Ireland) With some yummy chocolate muffins afterwards. A perfect end to a perfect evening :)
