After many years of reading and loving the Harry Potter series, it came time to see the final movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. So Midnight the night before its release Me & Sharon met at Liffey valley. There were Hogwarts students from all four houses, followers of the dark side and muggles to be seen everywhere. There was a fun buzz in the air that we would finally see the book come to life on the big screen. I had queued outside Eason's at midnight to buy the last book years before. There was the air of slight sadness too, that we all knew this was indeed the end of an Era. That the story would end this night. That is until we open the pages of our novels and start the journey with Harry all over again. I love reading. I Love the feeling of being with those who love reading too. I love becoming part of the story. Being drawn into its pages by those authors with the magical power of drawing us in. I am so thankful for my imagination that helps me to escape the sometimes mundane moments in life, into the worlds of make believe and happy ever afters :)
