Christmas time was here again. The last couple of years I've pushed myself to do some handmade gifts for Family. This year was no different. I took part in the sewing classes offered at Katie & Michael's school again. This time I was slightly more confident than In previous years. I set a personal goal of making 5 Christmas cushions. It was a little ambitious but over all I reached the goal (just) I learnt to sew better (slightly) and really enjoyed making the gifts. I wont be going into business just yet, but it gave me a lovely feeling when I gave each cousin to my sisters, and mam & dad. They were well impressed with me. which was a little gift back I think :) It felt nice to have the cushion I made for our house, sat on the sofa. It will be a perminate part of our Christmas decorations (until it falls apart that is lol) A small accomplishment but miles from where I started off with :)
