Michael’s Baptism :)

Today was a very special day in our Family, and especially for Michael. He was so Happy to be the centre of Attention, and Loved that Patrick was to be the one who would baptise him. Dad, Michael Mulholland senior, confirmed him. Along with Patrick, uncle John and close family friend, Charlie Keogh in the circle. It was a lovely blessing. I am so proud of him. Myself and Gabrielle, from the stake Primary presidency, gave talks. Along with Big Brother Anthony Smile He did a great job and I was very proud of him too. We sang two of Michaels favourite hymns. “I am a child of God” as an opening hymn and “Keep the commandments”  for closing.

After the Baptism we had some refreshments at the church, with extended family and close friends. It was nice to all spend this day together, building memories. I went all out and made use of my newly found “Talent” of baking ha. We had Apple tarts & Crumble with Custard. chocolate brownies. some yummy (if I do say so myself lol) decorated biscuits. And my very first effort of jam sponge cake. I say effort as it hadn’t totally turned out as I wished but hey, all in good time ha Smile and a selection of different sandwiches with some drinks. We enjoyed the food and a chat before heading home. I am so Happy for Michael. He is growing up so fast. He is such an example to me. I am blessed to be his mum and I thank Heavenly father daily for the special spirits I have in my life, in Anthony, Michael and Katie lou lou Smile
