Our Family Sealing :)

After much praying and a lot patience, it was arranged that Patrick and I would bring the children to the Preston England temple, to be sealed for time and all eternity. This day more than any other in my life, was one I longed for most, but strongly doubted, it would ever happen. We had some opposition in arranging the children's passports for the boat. As well as making sure the important interviews and documents for the temple were organised. But by supporting each other along the way, the time came for our five day temple visit with the stake.

"families can be together forever
On the 18th of April 2011 the clock was set for our  very early wake up call. All Packed and ready to go. We got a taxi to the boat docks. It was great to see the other members arriving for our visit too. The boat journey was lots of fun. The children were very well behaved. Katie, Michael and I went to the cinema to see "Mega mind", while Patrick and Anthony went to the on board arcades. I love travelling by boat. Once we arrived at Holy Head, England, it was time for our Almost 3 hour coach trip. I was so proud of how well the children played together and entertained themselves with the books etc we had brought for the journey.
Our very special day had arrived. Dad and Audrey flew over for a day visit, for the sealing. It made everything that more special. Katja arrived the night before too. It was so nice to share this experience with some of the closest people to us, as well as other members from the stake. We missed those that weren't there, but knew they were there in spirit :) We arrived to the temple, to be welcomed by President and Sister Vyner. We had asked if they would take part in our sealing As they had played big parts in both our personal endowments, and in our sealing to each other the previous July. I cannot describe how I felt as I walked in the temple doors with my Husband and 3 children. It is a feeling I never want to forget, and that I hope to repeat again and again.

The children's first experience inside the temple was
all I had wanted it to be, and all they had dreamed it would be too. The spirit at our sealing was so strong. There wasn't alot of dry eyes. I had to whisper to Katie "Its ok they are happy tears, everyone is so happy for us"  Michael's smile was beaming as he took in all that was happening. Anthony wrote in his journal after, "that it had been very special and that he had tears in his eyes." When we left the Temple, Patrick, Anthony, Michael, katie and I, walked around the grounds, to the back of the temple and sang "families can be together forever" I am so grateful for my Family and that now, that bound can and will last forever.

During our week we discovered a nearby Park. It was hugh. We went to the petting Farm. There were lots of different farm animals. The children loved feeding the rabbits and turtles. We joined in some Easter activity's, making and decorating Easter bags. The best part was filling the bags with yummy chocolate to take home. There was two playgrounds, a really big sand pit, picnic areas as well as forest trails. We ate lunch in the Grand big house that had been converted in a fancy restaurant. The weather was lovely and the children enjoyed being outside.
We had an unforgettable time while at the Temple and we look forward to going on the next Stake visit this October. Anthony will be twelve just before we go, so he will be able to enter the temple again and build on his growing testimony of the work done there. I am so thankful for Patrick and the children. I love our Family and how we, well we just work :) Heavenly father is watching over us and knows what is he doing. I will definitely be putting my trust more in him and allowing things to happen in his time not ours :)
