Secret Santa :)

On the morning of Christmas eve, we were all snuggled up in our cosy warm beds, away from the cold December weather. When just after 7am a loud rap tap tap came on the front door. Shocked, to have someone knock at our door at that time in the morning, I put on my housecoat and was quickly down the stairs. To my Great Surprise, sitting on our doorstep was a very special Christmas Hamper. But there was NO ONE in sight. I looked up the street and saw a silver car just as it drove round the corner. I didnt recognise it. Before carrying the basket inside I read the attached note... Merry Christmas to the Hussey Family from Secret Santa :) The children, awake now, and Patrick, came downstairs to see what was going on. It was such a lovely surprise. We waited like good little girls and boys, until Christmas morning to open the hamper. Inside there was a tin of Roses. A Christmas fruit cake, which was super yummy when we ate it. A tin of Kimberly's chocolate biscuits. Mince pies. Christmas pudding. A chocolate selection box for each of the children. As well as a gift for each of us. Mine and Patrick's gifts were lovely makeup and smellies :) Katie's gift was moxie girl dolls. She was delighted. Anthony's was a Lego set, which he immediately got to making. and last but by no means least, Michael's gift was a voucher to have 7 piano lessons with Maressa Connolly. He was over the moon. The gifts and treats were so thoughtful and nice to receive. But the best gift over all, was the kindness that was shown to us by our Secret Santa. We still don't know who he/she or they are. But that's ok. We are so thankful for the gift they gave us and for helping to bring the spirit of Christmas into our Home a Little more than it already was :) We pray that they will be blessed with all there hearts desires as they deserve xox
