And so it begins :)

The long awaited day of our wedding had finally arrived. I woke bright and early, well before my alarm clock was due to go off. So excited but a little worried to see if all our plans and preparing would come into to play as we wanted. Katja, who had touchingly flown over from Australia especially for our wedding, made us some yummy hot chocolate and toast for breakfast. which I couldn’t eat. I guess most brides are the same on their big day ha
We were 5 minutes late arriving to the hairdressers, as the night before, between leaving the chapel and going back and forth to the hotel, I lost my phone. So the morning of our wedding with multi coloured rollers in my hair, Me Katja and Katie went to Liffey Valley to get me a new phone. The lovely guy in the store gave me my new phone for free as a wedding gift, I was delighted.
we were met at the Hair dressers by the photographer and the madness began. One of my longest friends, Jackie joined us there too. A short 3-4 hours later we left, eyebrows waxed, nails manicured, hairs styled, and makeup done, all the while being photograped Ha. It was time to go to my Parents house, My childhood home. To where my special dress was waiting.

My sisters Michelle and Audrey, with their daughters Erin and Rebecca were already there. along with Mum and Dad, and my Brother in law John. Some neighbours, and friends, who knew me from my youth called in to wish me all the best. It was very nice, getting ready in what had once been my bedroom. childhood dreams in that very room, coming to life. my sisters and friends helped me, My bridesmaid Katja and Our flowergirl Katie, get into our dresses. Me and Katie added our tiaras, Along with my finishing touch of the vail. I wore pearl earings and matching string of pearls given to me by my mum. It being my something old, and at the same time something new to me. my something borrowed could have been a number of things haha so that was that covered and for my something Blue, I had a special present of a small fake flower giving to me by my Niece rebecca earlier in the year. I felt so happy, all of the stress of, would the dress still fit? would my cold sore be visible? would this, would that, oh a million things, none of it seemed to matter very much right then. I was blissfully happy and looked forward to the best parts of the day that still lay ahead Smile
